Sales and Fulfillment

The Cadence Group has partnered with Pathway Book Service, an established and respected book fulfillment agency. Pathway handles all the warehousing, ordering and shipping details and collects the monies owed on your behalf. Once your books are stocked and ready to go, your books will be fed into all of the top databases. Within 4 – 6 weeks, your books will be available through Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Barnes and Noble.com, Amazon.com and many other industry wholesalers and retailers.

At that point, The Cadence Group offers a number of sales and marketing programs to get your titles in front of book buyers. If you prefer, we are happy to teach publishers how to do their sales and marketing themselves.

Once your books are stocked and ready to go, The Cadence Group offers a number of sales and marketing programs to get your titles in front of book buyers.

We do not use commission groups to drop off catalogs at bookstores, but we offer book buyers a more focused opportunity to consider each and every title. We use phone, fax and e-mail as well as Internet forums to reach out to book buyers on a title-by-title basis.

If your book is accepted by our review team, The Cadence Group will take on the sales of your book to retailers nationwide. Instead of charging our clients high percentages, administrative fees, and hidden costs for phone calls, follow-up with accounts, etc. we’re thrilled to offer a new and transparent way to sell and market your books.

Here’s what it looks like:

Sales Program – National sales pitch to all accounts. - Your book will be pitched to all appropriate accounts which may include Barnes & Noble, Borders, Target, Levy, Books-a-Million, Hastings, specialty retailers, wholesalers, gift and mass market. Marketing Program – We’re more than happy to work with our clients to combine our sales program with our aggressive marketing team. Regional Sales Campaign and Marketing Programs
– If your program or budget is not yet ready for national distribution, no problem! We can work with you on strategic regional telemarketing and online campaigns to increase your exposure.
